How this site is paid for
This is a free website. Some links earn us a small commission — here is exactly how that works.
Affiliate links
Some links to shops’ websites and online stores are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the shop (or the affiliate network it uses, such as Awin) may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price. Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code, and each shop page says when its links may be affiliate links.
Amazon
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Links in our Leeds store and the “shop this category online” links go to Amazon.co.uk with our Associates tag. We don’t show Amazon prices, ratings or product photos — they change, and Amazon’s own page is always current.
What affiliate links don’t change
- Every confirmed shop on the street is listed, whether or not it pays us anything.
- Listings, descriptions and positions are the same for every shop. Nobody can pay to be listed, moved up or described differently.
- We don’t publish ratings or reviews, so there is nothing to influence.
