The Light

Leisure and shopping centre made from two listed 1930s Headrow buildings joined under a glass roof.

The Light opened in 2001, joining Permanent House and the Headrow Buildings — two of the first buildings of the 1930s Headrow — with a glass roof over the streets between them. Today it is mostly places to eat, drink and go out: a cinema, bowling, crazy golf, escape rooms, a gym, restaurants and a hotel, with a car park underneath.

Some units face The Headrow and have their own street numbers; others are inside. The Light’s own website has the full, current directory.

Opening times, offers and stock change — the shop’s own website is the place to check them.
