The first of the Leeds Victorian arcades, between Lands Lane and Briggate, just south of The Headrow.
Completed in 1878, Thornton's Arcade was the first of the Leeds shopping arcades. It is known for its animated clock with figures from Ivanhoe and is lined with small shops and cafés. It is a listed building.
